Sure, we use Google Trends for market research and insights on shifting consumer demand, but it’s also a fun toy! We wanted to explore what was going on in the minds of the country’s Googlers as we’re under quarantine. “Search Querry-tine,” if you will.

What is a spurious correlation? When two things are associated but not causally related. It’s either coincidence or due to the presence of unconsidered factors. But they’re still fun to look at. Here are a few of our favorites.
