Meet the Analyst – Alexy Cardenas

Name: Alexy Cardenas

Title: Media Buyer & Planner

How long have you been strategizing/analyzing/ producing straight fire at Net Conversion?

It’ll be 2 years in January – so coming up on my anniversary!

Favorite moment at Net Conversion so far?

Honestly I feel like it was the backpack volunteer event. I grew up doing this event with my mom since my mom is a teacher. So it was cool to have that tradition in Net Conversion as well.

Which is your favorite day of the week?

Thursday, it calms down a little bit because no one wants to work on fridays.

Who do you admire most at Net Con that’s not on your team?

Probably RJ – because I’ve worked on accounts with him. He’s amazing in what he does and he handles his accounts so well – so props to him.

What food do you crave mostly?

So my fav comfort food is fried fish. So either with fries or hush puppies. I grew up in Tampa, so whenever I can eat it – I do. Though it’s hard to find a good place in Orlando (any tips fam?)

How would you describe humanity to aliens?

What? Pretty chaotic. So just got to let them do their thing.

What movie can you watch over and over again?

Any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I was in an orchestra – so I’m obsessed with all the music.

How many pancakes can you eat in a single sitting?

3 – bananas and chocolate chips!

If you had the whole world’s attention but only for 30 seconds, what would you do/say?

I think I would spend 30 secs trying to figure out what to say…and then it would be over. #anxiety

What topic could you spend a lot of time talking about?

History – I really like asian history. I wanted to be an archaeologist when I was a kid until I realized you had to be rich or a professor for the rest of your life – which I didn’t want to be.

Which book impacted you the most?

It Ends With Us

Tell us your best joke.

I don’t know any jokes. You’re not getting anything out of me.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in life?

Sometimes you just have to let shit go. The more you hold on, the harder it is to keep your sanity. The longer it takes, the more it will weigh on you. So just let it go.

If you had $1,000,000 only for an hour, how would you spend it?

Pay off condo, responsibilities and help out my mom. Oh yes, and travel!

Anything else you want your fans to know?

I love food, I’m obsessed with anything involved with The Rock.
