Meet the Analyst – Alan Thomas

Name: Alan Thomas

Title: Senior Analytics Analyst

How long have you been a camper here at Net Conversion?

15 months, a little over a year.

What is the craziest memory you have at NC?
Craziest memory… this is tough. It’s got to be the onboarding. I was dressed up as bigfoot, a literal big foot. I made avocado toast for everyone, sang karaoke, and played flip cup and won the first round.

You found $1,000 cash on the ground, what do you do?

I’d invest in some type of AI Bot.

What food do you crave the most?

Thai food (He answered this so quickly). Pad thai – or any noodle dish.

What do you like the most about being an Analytics Analyst?

Probably being innovative with my marketing counterpart. Just collaborating on our strategy and seeing what works and how we can improve it over time.

If you could switch places with one of your coworkers for a day, who would you choose and why?

Seamus. Working in the back end of Conversionomics and learning the inner workings sounds fun.

If you could un-invent one thing, what would it be?

Pie Charts – I like donut charts so much better.

Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose the ability to speak?

Speak. I can go quiet – sign language.

If you had three wishes, what would you wish for?

  1. Three more wishes
  2. End world hunger
  3. Insane drumming ability (instantly become a great drummer)

Cats or Dogs?

Dogs – I have a dog named Romulus, a Hound Dalmation mix

If you had the whole world’s attention but only for 30 seconds, what would you do/say?

Hit ‘em with a rap verse, probably something from Childish Gambino

Would you rather spend the rest of your life with a sailboat as a home or an RV as a home?

RV – I can travel, plus… sea sickness.

Team Hailey or Team Selena?

Hailey. I’m also team the Weeknd and Selena

What is your fondest memory?

My wedding – It was outside on a farm, and luckily rained AFTER the ceremony.
