Meet the Analyst – Joe Chihos

Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics

Eden Prairie, Minnesota. I moved to Orlando in 2004.

How long have you been with Net Con?

It’ll be one year in September.

What clients do you work on?

Primarily Southeastern Grocers, but I try to pitch in wherever fun math is needed!

Favorite moment at Net Con thus far?

When Karthik and Matt Walker were brought on full time. Fryan’s continued dedication to bringing in top-tier data science talent is taking our whole team’s capabilities to the next level. I love being part of a growing, dynamic, brilliant team of analysts.

What’s your philosophy toward working here?

We’re all here to make each other better. That doesn’t just mean helping and teaching others, it means acknowledging your own challenges and trusting the Net Con family to lift you up.

Who do you admire most at Net Con that’s not on your team?

Devon. I’ve never met anyone else who masters and leverages new tools as quickly as he does. Every day I try to be a little more like Devon.

What’s your favorite Net Con Perk?

Development without boundaries. Our Advanced Analytics team is tasked with creating cutting-edge solutions for clients in different industries, and our leadership team does a great job of making sure we have every technical and educational resource to accomplish those goals.

Favorite project you’ve done/proudest accomplishment

Beating David in arm-wrestling. But in the professional arena, rebuilding, optimizing, and automating God View – our internal reporting tool. We process a ton of data, and we have so many smart people who can help out across all of our accounts. God View gives the entire company visibility on each clients’ performance on a daily basis, allowing the team to focus its resources where we need the help.

What do you do when you’re not at work?

My wife/best friend Kristilee and I are attached at the hip. We’re always hammering out DIY projects at home, bringing our beloved pups to breweries, traveling the world, or simply binging Netflix.

What is your favorite thing to do in the wonderful city of Orlando?

We love traveling to all the different breweries around Orlando, and are currently on our second lap of the Central Florida Ale Trail! We also love escape rooms – we’ve now completed 22 different rooms in Orlando.

Team Jet or Team Yacht?

Team Jet. The world is too big to measure your speed in double digit knots.

What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?

Can I 3D print new copies of my dogs?
